Mr. Kenichi Wilson is the owner of Wilson's Showtime Services an Event Production Support company based in New York City.

 

He has been exposed to the arts and entertainment field all of his life. His father is the principal percussionist for American Ballet Theater, Long Island Philharmonic and Little Orchestra Society and has played for many more. His mother was one of the first Asian professional ice skaters in the states then became a professional dresser / wardrobe coordinator for many Broadway shows with clients including Raquel Welch, Phylicia Rashad and Bernadette Peters just to name a few. Kenichi developed a love for the arts and entertainment field, knowing this was the direction he wanted to take, he started his company over twenty two years ago.

 

At first providing rentals and repairs of percussion instruments, through the years he expanded his business to include production support for all fields in the industry. His services to name a few includes sound, lighting, staging, exhibits, trade shows, site research and setups along with rental equipment.

 

Mr. Wilson has worked with Carnegie Hall Corp., Juilliard School, New York University, Queens Symphony Orchestra, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, The New York Pops, The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, American Ballet Theater, New York Philharmonic, Brooklyn Philharmonic, New York City Ballet, The American Composers Orchestra, The Westchester Philharmonic, Long Island Philharmonic, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Christie's Special Events, BMW of North America, Mini, NA., Volvo, NA., Robert Graham designs, Raider Jeans NYC, Alfred Dunhill Americas, Bernadette Conte and many others.

 

Mr. Wilson is a perfectionist and treats every production with his personal touch no matter how big or small. He strives to make each event better than the last and will guarantee a successful outcome.

 

Mr. Wilson also enjoys to do volunteer work. He has lived in Queens, N.Y. all of his life. Because of that, he feels that he has deep roots in Queens and has the ability, knowledge, values and skills to be able to better his community. He has volunteered to be a NYC Auxiliary Police Officer for the 102 Precinct and volunteered for The Woodhaven Richmond Hill Ambulance Corps. He is now on his local community board and chairs the Transportation committee. He has plans to run for other volunteer positions in the near future.
